What exactly is 4G?
4G is the mobile network generation that replaces 3G. It offers better call quality (clearer sound), wider coverage, and a more stable connection. In practical terms, you make calls just as before: your habits don’t change, only the network technology evolves.
What happens if I don’t change my phone?
Now 3G has shutdown across the country, devices that use 3G will revert back to the 2G network which is typically slower and less efficient. You will still be able to make calls and send texts on 2G, but the coverage might be more intermittent.
