GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR THE DORO 8080 INSTAGRAM ONLINE COMPETITION

Doro hereby invites you to participate in the Instagram Competition (the “Competition”). As a participant in the Competition you must follow the Doro Instagram account and comment stating who you would gift the prize to and why, and you can win the prize of one (1) Doro 8080 smartphone, and a six (6) month subscription to Response Premium by Doro. In addition to the Doro Legal Notice including User Terms and Privacy Notice available at https://www.doro.co.uk/legal, and adherence to GDPR rules available here https://www.doro.com/en-gb/gdpr-2, you hereby accept and agree that the following rules apply to the Competition and your use of this Instagram Page. Any instructions on how to enter this Competition forms part of the conditions.

1. This Competition is organized and hosted by Doro (“Promoter”) and this Competition is without any obligation to make a purchase for Entry.

2. Each participant (“Participant”) may enter the Competition via the Doro UK & Ireland Instagram page (“Instagram Page”) and successfully enter the competition via the steps outlined above (“Entry”).

3. This Competition is only available in the the United Kingdom. The period for Entry in the online Competition starts 8 December 2020 and ends 23:59pm, 12 December 2020, which is the closing date for the Competition. The Competition is open to residents of countries where this Competition is locally available provided the Participant is of minimum age 18.

Please note that employees and immediate relatives of employees of the Promoter or of its respective parent, subsidiary or affiliated companies or any other person connected with this Competition are excluded from participation. Participants who cannot be legal entities are not allowed to participate.

4. The winner will receive one (1) white Doro 8080 smartphone and a six (6) month subscription to Response Premium by Doro, free of charge (“Prize”). The winner will be the participant who has successfully entered the Competition, randomly selected, and only one (1) Winner will be selected.
5. Winner will be notified via an Instagram direct message on 14th December and will be selected at random.

6. The Judges’ decision is always final and binding. The Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative Winner in the event that the Promoter has reasonable grounds for believing that a Participant has contravened any of these Terms and Conditions.

7. All personal information collected and retained by the Judges and Doro will be held purely for the purposes of the Competition, and will not be used for marketing purposes. 8. The prize will be sent to the postal addresses provided by the winner at the time when the winner is contacted. Winners must respond to the Instagram message within 48 hours of its send time to claim their prize. The Promoter is not liable if incorrect postal address details are provided by the winners.

9. The Promoter reserves the right to re-award to a runner up selected at random at the same time as the main draw if no response is received within this 48 hour period.

10. All Participants are responsible for any costs or expenses incurred by them as a result of participation in the Competition (including without limitation costs for sending a sms, mms or accessing the Internet). Costs to enter the Competition via the Internet may vary so please check with your local service provider for current charges. A Participant is also responsible for any costs, taxes, duties or levies incurred as a result of participating in or winning the Competition. In addition, Participant hereby agrees and accepts that by winning the Competition Participant may incur taxes, duties or other levies including but not limited to any prize tax etc under any applicable laws and regulations. Participant hereby unconditionally accepts to bear any such tax, duty or other levy on behalf of Participant.

11. The Prizes are as stated and are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged. If due to circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control the Promoter is unable to provide the stated Prize(s), the Promoter reserves the right to award as substitute a Prize of equal or higher value. All Prizes are subject to the terms and conditions of the supplier of the relevant service included in the Prize.

12. The Winner will need to enter their credit card details to claim the six months of Response Premium by Doro, however, this service can be cancelled at any time without any charge. The Promoter and Doro do not take any responsibility for ensuring the Winner cancels their subscription, and are not liable for any fees incurred as a result of this.

13. The Doro Privacy Notice displayed at DORO.com under “Privacy” applies to any processing of data performed in connection herewith.

14. By accessing the Instagram Page Participant agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, which may be amended or varied at any time by the Promoter.

15. The Promoter will not be responsible for any failed connection by the Participant’s attempt to access the Instagram Page for whatever reason.

16. The Instagram Page shall be used for lawful purposes only. Entries shall not contain any material and/or statement which violates or infringes in any way upon the rights of others, which is unlawful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, invasive of privacy or publicity rights, vulgar, obscene, profane, indecent or otherwise objectionable, which encourages conduct or is conduct that would constitute a criminal offense, gives rise to civil liability or otherwise violates any applicable law. Entries failing to comply with this provision will be disqualified without prior notification.

17. Promoter reserves the right at any time and from time to time without any liability whatsoever, to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, this Instagram Page, including this Competition, with or without prior notice to Participants. 19. Disclaimer of Warranty and Limitation of Liability

1. IN NO EVENT WILL THE PROMOTER OR ANY PERSON OR ENTITY INVOLVED IN ARRANGING, HOSTING, CREATING, PRODUCING OR DISTRIBUTING THE INSTAGRAM PAGE OR THE COMPETITION BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF THE USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE INSTAGRAM PAGE OR OUT OF THE BREACH OF ANY WARRANTY, PARTICIPATION IN THE COMPETITION OR ELSE.
2. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, PROMOTER’S LIABILITY OR OF ANY PERSON OR ENTITY INVOLVED IN THE COMPETITION AS STATED IN A. ABOVE SHALL FOR ANY REASON WHATSOEVER BE LIMITED TO MAXIMUM EUR 10.
3. THE PROMOTER NEITHER ENDORSES NOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ACCURACY OR RELIABILITY OF ANY OPINION, ADVICE OR STATEMENT ON THE INSTAGRAM PAGE, NOR FOR ANY OFFENSIVE, DEFAMATORY OR OBSCENE POSTING MADE ON THE INSTAGRAM PAGE.

20. In addition, Participant hereby agrees and accepts that by winning the Competition Participant may incur taxes, duties or other levies including but not limited to any prize tax etc under any applicable laws and regulations. Participant hereby unconditionally accepts to bear any such tax, duty or other levy on behalf of Participant.
