Doro, leading phone provider for seniors, partners with Sky

The partnership will see two new handsets launch on the Sky network, the Doro 8050 smartphone and Doro 7030 feature phone.

London, 26th June 2020: Doro, the leading global supplier of telecommunication solutions for seniors, has partnered with UK telecoms provider, Sky Mobile. This partnership will see Sky Mobile customers, including senior users, gain access to Doro’s unique and inclusive technology. Two new phones are launching on the Sky Mobile network: Doro 7030 and Doro 8050, both are now available.

The Doro 7030 is available via Sky Mobile from £9 per month and the Doro 8050 is available from £13 per month. The phones are exciting additions to Sky’s offering, combining Doro’s sleek, Scandinavian design with the brand’s proven usability and high-quality sound.

The range of functions and operating concepts of these two models make them uniquely suited to meet the needs of the over 65s – a demographic that is often forgotten by phone manufacturers.

Paul Sweeney, Managing Director at Sky Mobile, said “We know staying connected to family, friends and loved ones is important to all our customers. Bringing Doro’s phones to our range will keep more of our customers connected when they can’t be together.”

Peter Marsden, Managing Director, Doro UK & Ireland said: We’re thrilled to be partnering with Sky to bring Doro’s unique offering to Sky Mobile customers. Combining easy-to-use features with high-quality performance, the Doro 8050 and the Doro 7030 are the perfect devices to launch our partnership. We take all aspects of design seriously at Doro and the packaging for both handsets will not include any additional plastic, cutting down on unnecessary waste.

Both handsets will be among the first to be compatible with our imminent Response by Doro offering, a service that connects seniors with their family, friends and support networks.”
